Cyprus
A direct flight from the UAE to Cyprus is less than four hours long and will transport you to a coastal haven with glimmering turquoise waters. Sounds pretty great for an Eid-Al Adha holiday destination. Cyprus will normally reach a maximum of 35 degrees in July, making it a welcome break from the UAE heat. To travel to Cyprus, fully vaccinated passengers or those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 will not be required to undergo any tests.
Greece
Greece has been on UAE travel lists for a long time, and for good reason. It’s one of the ideal Eid Al-Adha holiday destinations since the flight is less than six hours long and there are loads of stunning islands to explore while you’re there. Greece is lifting current travel restrictions so tourists will no longer need to present vaccine passports, PCR test results or any other COVID-19-related documents to enter the country. If you’re planning to travel to Greece from Abu Dhabi, Etihad is launching a direct Etihad flight from Abu Dhabi to Crete this summer from Wednesday June 15.
Maldives
Travelling to Maldives is never a bad idea, which is why it’s one of the popular Eid Al-Adha holiday destinations. Direct flights from the UAE to Maldives are less than five hours and the weather sticks at around 28 degrees in July. To make travel even easier, COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted and you are no longer required to have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test to enter the country. Seychelles
Aside from being one of the most stunning locations in the world, flights from the UAE to Seychelles are under five hours long, making it an ideal Eid Al-Adha vacation destination. If you are fully vaccinated you are also exempt from COVID-19 PCR testing requirements. July is the coolest month in the Seychelles, ranging from 24 to 28 degrees, which makes Eid Al-Adha the ideal break to visit on. Get ready to showcase those crystal clear waters on the ‘gram.
Sri Lanka
Delicious food, beautiful beaches and loads of outdoor adventures; Sri Lanka is an easy choice if you’re looking to travel for the Eid Al-Adha vacation. The north and east of the country get plenty of sunshine in July as the summer monsoon season eases off. Direct flights to Sri Lanka are less than five hours and fully vaccinated passengers don’t need to undergo any pre-departure COVID-19 tests. Be sure to say hello to the elephants.
Turkey
It seems like everyone in the UAE has been visiting Turkey recently, and for good reason. There’s brilliant shopping, loads of sights to see and plenty of cultural attractions for every type of traveler. The weather is at its hottest in July, but a high of 35 is nothing to UAE residents and fully vaccinated travellers to Turkey no longer need to show a PCR test on arrival.
