OKLAHOMA CITY – Visitors will be treated to travel-planning assistance, live entertainment, giveaways and more at Oklahoma Tourism Information Centers throughout the state on Saturday, April 30, and Sunday, May 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in celebration of TravelOK Days.
TravelOK Days highlights the Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department’s celebration of National Travel and Tourism Week. National Travel and Tourism Week, which runs from May 1 through 7, is an annual event that celebrates travel and the very important role it plays in the United States economy.
Friendly TravelOK Trip Planners will be on-site to answer questions and even provide personal travel recommendations on point-by-point vacation itineraries. Local tourism attractions and industry partners will also be on hand to provide even more Oklahoma getaway ideas.
Visitors can also enjoy food trucks, giveaways, performances by local musicians and other entertainment at select locations.
While enjoying TravelOK Days, visitors can check out updated, Oklahoma-themed Tourism Information Centers, which offer hands-free doors and restrooms, gift shops, selfie stops, dog parks and a wide array of complimentary brochures, maps and guides.
