A thing of beauty is a joy ceaselessly. Did Shah Jahan have this in mind when he constructed the Taj Mahal, the monument of affection for his sweetheart Mumtaz Mahal? This is one query for which we are going to probably never find a solution to. However, whenever you see the Taj for the primary time, you’ll know what it means once they say “Wonder of the World” Now when you stand in front of that grand monument in Agra; you’ll suddenly be stuck with the wonder, beauty, grandeur and majesty of the monument. My experience of seeing the Taj was a sense which was completely out of this world. Here I used to be standing in front of monument that was built tons of of years ago with the right architectural, design and work; and this was just an amazing feeling for me.
The Taj Mahal is some of the popular tourist attractions in India and it’s a must see destination for all tourist from India and out of India as well. The 4 minarets mutely stand as an affidavit to all of the events which have taken place within the Taj. Right from the time the monument was being constructed to the time when Shah Jahan, the Mughal Emperor of India, till the time when he spent some wonderful moments here together with his second and most beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. We won’t ever come to know the enjoyment, the pain, the heartbreak, the laughter, the innocence, the fervour and the love that these 4 pillars have been witness to over time. If only those pillars could speak, we could have the story of a lifetime with us.
The best time to see the Taj is early within the morning on the time of sunrise, the view is just breathtaking. This enduring monument of everlasting love is built out of white marble. An enormous white tomb flanked by the 4 minarets stand on an enormous area of land. The monument is big in size and when you go inside, you’ll realize how huge that is. If you might be planning to go to the Taj sometime soon, be certain that that you may have loads of time at hand. You is not going to do justice to this masterpiece for those who don’t explore its different elements at leisure. The Taj has many mysteries waiting to be delivered to light; you will have loads of time to explore this magnificent monument of affection.
People experience different feelings once they visit the Taj Mahal, but one thing is common amongst all of them. They just cannot help but marvel on the architectural wonder which was built so precisely and perfectly, that too at a time when none of the fashionable amenities and resources that we’ve today were available. In fact things were very hard those days and picture someone actually made the hassle to bring together so many staff and materials from all parts of the world simply to pay tribute to the woman he was in love with. Can anything be higher then this?
