The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau (OBVB) has been working collaboratively with MMGY NextFactor, a consulting firm specializing in travel and tourism, to develop a Long-Range Tourism Management Plan to guide future tourism-related growth and development in Dare County.
MMGY NextFactor, with oversight from the Task Force established to support this project, has been conducting interviews and focus groups with local civic, business and government leaders, and industry stakeholders in various sectors.
The input of residents is critical to this process and to the effectiveness of the Plan, and residents of Dare County’s Outer Banks are invited to share their input at a community meeting where consultants will solicit input to further develop and refine the Tourism Management Plan.
OBVB will offer two meeting locations and times on January 24, 2023. Both will cover the same topics of discussion, and the public can RSVP through the appropriate link below.
