While this resort does have standard rooms and suites for those who want the entire hotel experience, more adventurous guests can choose from standalone cabins and covered wagons to call home for the night.
The wagons have room for up to 6 guests, with one king bed and two bunk beds. They are arranged around a communal fire pit with red Adirondak chairs placed throughout. A short walk away will give you access to private bathrooms, and each wagon has its own air conditioner.
Ithaca by Firelight Camps
Tucked away in Ithaca, New York, you will find big billowing canvas tents propped up by large tree trunks into a welcoming A-frame shape at Firelight Camps. Inside each tent, you will be treated to hardwood floors adorned with bright and bold area floor rugs, one king or two queen beds, battery-operated lanterns for that warm evening glow, and a writer’s desk and chair.

Be aware that this is an off-the-grid experience with limited to no cell service or wifi. But the campsite will provide LED lanterns, USB charging packs, and solar lights.
