Some resorts have a distinct reputation for being well-liked by British visitors all around the world. Here’s some of the most popular…

Mallorca

There are various methods to gauge how well-liked a vacation spot is, including online searches, surveys, booking information, and even a simple count of Union Jack swim trunks on the beach. However, Mallorca routinely ranks at the top of all rankings of the most well-liked holiday locations for British tourists. It is simple to see why we find the Balearic hideaway to be so alluring: it offers wonderful beaches, stunning mountains, and activities for everyone; couples, families, and adrenaline seekers to enjoy. While most of Mallorca is still underdeveloped and has a reputation for built-up tourist traps, it has historically been a victim of its own success. By traveling to the more rural parts, you may experience a far more authentic island getaway.

Canary Islands

Keeping with the Spanish theme, the Canary Islands are a popular destination for sun-seeking Britons year after year. With a year-round mild temperature and a flight time of less than five hours, it’s easy to understand why. Of all the Canaries, Tenerife is by far the most “British,” followed by Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. The favorable exchange rate played a role in the increase in popularity of the Canaries and other European sun destinations, but the abundance of vacation options offered by the islands is unquestionably also a factor.

Algarve, Portugal

British tourists have always found Portugal to be quite appealing, and the Algarve’s breathtaking beaches, clifftops, and castles continue to be major draws. There are more than 150 wonderful beaches to pick from in the Southern regions of the nation, offering everything from protected coves to major surfing areas that harness the wildest Atlantic waves (let’s face it, we Brits are suckers for the seashore). Praia de Marinha on the South Coast, which blends amazing limestone formations with turquoise waves and pure golden sand, is possibly the most stunning.

Ibiza, Balearic Islands

Ibiza, best known as the party epicenter of Europe and the setting for the Second Summer of Love, provides guests wishing to let their hair down in style with unrivaled nightlife and plenty of possibilities to chill out. It is a convenient vacation spot that is just as well-loved for its quaint whitewashed towns, beach coves, and gorgeous pine woods as it is for its famed nightlife scene and bohemian appeal. It is only 2.5 hours by plane from the UK. Ibiza is expected to continue to be a top destination for British tourists for many years to come.

Las Vegas

The Mojave Desert was shaped into the metropolis of Las Vegas specifically with the intention of providing entertainment. Every year, millions of visitors go to Las Vegas to unwind, eat, shop, attend shows, enjoy the nightlife, and, of course, try their luck at popular games like rainbow riches.

Your pleasure starts on The Strip, which is Las Vegas’ main thoroughfare and is home to humming casinos, top-notch restaurants, elaborately constructed resorts, and extravagant performances. Take a picture in front of the well-known “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign on South Las Vegas Boulevard before setting out on your travels.

Orlando, Florida

Orlando is a perennial favorite among travelers seeking sun and fun. Walt Disney World is located in this Florida city, but if theme parks are more your thing, you can also visit Universal Studios, Epcot, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Orlando is also conveniently close to the Kennedy Space Center, and Daytona Beach and Cocoa Beach are an hour and a half’s drive away if you want to experience Florida’s beaches. There is no shortage of pools and water parks to keep you cool in the heat, and the lodging is quite family-friendly.

Benidorm, Spain

Benidorm is a must-have for any guide to British expats. There is no shortage of sun, sand, sea, and sangria, and vacations here are affordable. While the beaches may get busy, you’re more likely to run across families and older couples than the party-goers who frequently travel to the ‘younger’ nightlife hotspots like Magaluf.
