Melbourne’s  Marvel Stadium will host the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meeting Event (AIME) launch event next month in partnership with the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) bringing over 2000 visitors to the Victorian capital.

Marvel Stadium will welcome AIME delegates with a ground-breaking evening of food and entertainment which will be produced by Peter Jones Special Events (PJSE) and is designed to bring the business events industry together in celebration of AIME’s 30 year milestone.

Tourism Victoria will hope to reap similar rewards to that of Hawaiian tourism after running the event in 2019, seeing record numbers at the Hawaii Convention and Exhibition Centre and many hotels including The Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki.

The venue announcement comes early with Silke Calder, AIME event director, explaining the teams could not wait to reveal the news, “AIME, MCB, PJSE and Marvel Stadium have worked tirelessly to create a 30th anniversary extravaganza and we are delighted to make the eagerly-awaited venue announcement ahead of time.” he said.

Scott Fitzgerald, head of Marvel Stadium commercial, is thrilled to welcome the business and events industry to Melbourne and showcase Marvel Stadium’s first-class hospitality.

“As the flagship trade show for the business and events industry, and a key contributor to the health of our business tourism economy, AIME is one of the most important events of the year and we couldn’t be happier to be launching its 30th anniversary celebrations at our world-class venue.”
